Hamilton Township, NJ 08619 - 12/5/21 Pedestrian Car Accident Involving Serious Injury

Hamilton Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian who was seriously injured. The accident occurred today (December 5, 2021) at approximately 2:17 a.m. At that time, a 17-year-old male was walking westbound on Route 33, near the intersection of Weston Avenue, when he was struck by a vehicle likewise traveling westbound.


The vehicle fled the scene but was described as a dark colored Ford Mustang. The vehicle was noted as having damage to the windshield, front grill, and passenger side headlight.


The pedestrian was seriously injured and had to be transported to Capital Health-Helene Fuld for treatment.
