Hamilton, NJ 08619 - 2/22/2022 Serious Motor Vehicle Accident on S. Broad St. and Gropp Ave.

On February 22, 2022, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the Hamilton Police Department was detailed to the scene of a serious motor vehicle accident on S. Broad Street, at the intersection of Gropp Avenue. First responders arrived on scene to find a 2004 Suzuki GSX motorcycle involved in an accident with a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander. The Mitsubishi was attempting to make a right turn on to Gropp Avenue, when the motorcycle attempted to pass the vehicle on the passenger side. The motorcycle struck the vehicle and veered off the roadway into a grove of trees. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The operator of the motor vehicle refused medical attention.
