Robbinsville Township, NJ 08638 - 8/16/2022 Multipe Fiery Truck Crashes Reported on the New Jersey Turnpike

On August 16, 2022, two fiery truck crashes were reported on the New Jersey Turnpike. The crashes resulted in fire departments from Burlington, Mercer and Monmouth Counties to respond to the two scenes between Exit 7A and Exit 7.

The first crash was reported at 9:48 a.m. and involved a dump truck. It occurred near mile marker 55.6 in Chesterfield.

The second crash occurred later in the day at 11:17 a.m. It occurred near mile marker 59.3. This crash involved two tractor trailers and a box truck. Two of the trucks became fully engulfed in flames.
